My best friend is twelve, and about 5 feet tall. She is super fit and there isn't a chance she's fat. She thinks she's fat, and it's gotten bad enough that she had to take her mirror down so she wouldn't feel suicidal. She isn't annorexic, she's really smart, and she's a great person. I don't know what to do to help her! She also thinks she's ugly and can't see why anyone would like her. She's not ugly at all, but she won't believe my friends and I because friends always support each other. We're getting worried about her. She has a crush too, and if he said she was skinny and beautiful, I think that could help, but he has a girlfriend, which is undoubtedly not helping. Please help me help her!

This is a problem for adults and professionals to handle. I'm assuming she is getting professional help. You just be a friend encourage her and be there for her.
