My question is for circumstances that may occur down the road . My boyfriend and I have been together since 2000,
And we have a 10 year old daughter together. We moved into the home of his elderly 91 year old father to help him out. There is no legal documentation or tenant agreement.
We agreed to pay all of the utilities and food, while my
Boyfriend's father/Dad pays the mortgage.
Dad and I have a close relationship built on trust. However,
My boyfriend is financially irresponsible, does not have
Reliable employment, and pays his share whenever he feels
Like it. I pay the majority of everything. He is not an honest
Person. Dad has placed me on his will and trust concerning
The home. My boyfriend is envious about this fact, and when
Dad passes on, I feel there is definitely going to be problems.
When Dad passes on, I want to immediately sell the home, take my daughter, and have a fresh start. My question is...
Once I am the legal homeowner, how do I evict my boyfriend? He has all of his junk here on the property.. broken down cars, tools, car parts, other junk, etc.
Which I do not plan on taking with me in the future. I do not want to be legally responsible for his things since we are not married. We live in Southern California. Please advise. Thank you.
