I have a manufactured home built in 1994. On occasion, I hear a knock coming from my kitchen. It's not constant and that makes it hard to locate the source. I believe it's coming from my dishwasher area which also has my refrigerator nearby. What could be causing this occasional, fairly loud knock? Thank you!

Hi and welcome to The Plumbing Page at AMHD.com. You piggybacked on another thread so I gave you one of your own. Sounds like water hammer. The solution would be to install a air chamber,(shock arrester ) on the supply line. Good luck, Tom
