Hi I've known my boyfriend for 4 year and dated him for 2.5yrs, and He hates spending money on me, even if its on a date, he totally hates it. At most its movies, dinner and that its, then when we go on another date he brings up how much he spent, if he buys me a gift, such as sandals. But that's not my issue, my issue is I love sharing with people if they ask for something I give it to them, either if its his family or my family. He let me use his debit card to get my mom a snack, and they didn't have it so I got her an alternative, cookies, snickers for her, and a bag of chips for my 5 yr old brother. He yelled at me on the phone and said I will never give you my card again, and hangs up on me. He also gets mad when I cook or offer food to other people, that doesn't do do it back. Is it me just taking advantage of him or him just being a little a little a little tiny bit selfish?

Split everything down the middle.

Use your own money, any way you like. Don't allow him to control what belongs to you.

Split dinners, tickets, etc. He can't complain if it is an even playing field.
