I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 6.1.4 and now it won't charge at all. I have tried different chargers and it seems not to be the problem, I even restored it to its regular factory settings on my computer and it still will only say 1%. I have also let it charge all night on and off multiple times and still, I get the same outcome.

It will charge without an O/S on it... the problem is hardware... not software. It just happened to occur when you updated it. Is it still under warranty?
