Have an eljer toilet that had a flushmaster system it's a tank in the tank that holds the water and gives it a powerful flush like public toilets well that sprung a leak so took it out and replaced with new parts basic toilet flush system. But now I hit flush and water does not drain and if it does it is very little. Does not go down the bowl. Other toilet works great.double checked everything no idea why it won't drain from tank there seems to be no power. When the flapper opens it does not gush out to the bowl?

Are you saying you removed Power Flush system from toilet tank and replaced it with Gravity Flush system ? ( flopper and fill valve ) ?

Hi Mudslider
If I read this correctly, you switched parts from a flushmate system over to regular parts...
Sorry, but that will NOT work no matter what you do. Here, everything with the flushmate system works off the siphon jet hole and there is NO WAY the parts from a regular toilet will work in a flushmate system/tank! UGH!
It is time for a new "regular" toilet or a new flushmate tank!

In the interim, I have checked with Sloan website where they say that Power Flush toilets cannot be converted to Gravity Flow toilets as Power Flush toilets have smaller passages which will inhibit water flow from gravity flush.
Mark gave you your two options.
Thank you. Milo
