I know it's quite a long shot but I've been looking for the title of a book for simply ages, trouble is I don't remember the exact title or author and it's lead to dead ends .
I was probably about 13 when I read it, so I assume it was a teen romance/horror, the books main character is a girl called Mckenzie (I believe she was in a series of books) and the author was a male if I remember rightly.
Basically the key things I remember is it starts she goes to a halloween party, meets the vampire called Michael, starts to go on dates (despite having a boyfriend tsk tsk lol-he might have been called aiden?).
Now I'm pretty sure the book had the word kiss in the title, I thought it was called either a vampires kiss or kiss from a vampire, something along those lines.

If this sounds like a book you have read or know about please drop me the line of the title, I remember I really loved the book as a teen so I'd love to give it another read now if I could only find it.

While at a classmate's Halloween costume party, teen psychic McKenzie Gold meets a handsome, mysterious man named Michael Blake. Unexplainably, she finds herself falling for him, even though she already has a steady boyfriend. Not long after they start dating, McKenzie starts having psychic visions about Michael that reveal his secret identity--he's a vampire. Even though the reader already knows this from the beginning (the title's a dead giveaway), McKenzie and her best friend, Lilith Caine, repeatedly question who he really is. Besides being somewhat patronizing to the reader, "The Vampire's Kiss" is also a bit musty concerning the vampire myth (i.e., nocturnal activity, some blood drinking, though the book is more atmospheric than violent). This isn't the best vampire story I've read, but fans of this series will probably like it. Plus it's short and fast-paced (144 pages), which will appeal to preteens who like paranormal horror but don't want to read very much.
