I dated a guy for almost a year. We were very much into each other. But from one day to the next he decided he was bored with me. That was 7 months ago. He recently apologized. I didn't ask for what reason. The other day he approached me to compliment me on a project I presented. That was the first time he tried starting a conversation with me since he left. In addition, he tripped over his words and turned extremely red because it, much like he used to when we first met. I obviously still have feelings for him, do you think there's a chance he might too?

Are you guys in high school?

So he broke up with you for no apparent reason? Isn't there any kind of communication happening between the two of you? Like honesty?

Looks like, this relationship is devoid from any meaning; without honesty, it is. What if he just gets bored again and leaves (If this was the reason why he broke up with you the first time)?

In my opinion, I don't think he can commit to this relationship responsibly, meaning forget him. But in the end the choice is yours.

“I obviously still have feelings for him, do you think there's a chance he might too?” Who knows what goes through his mind. But the fact that he came to speak with you so suddenly, and him blushing might mean something.

We are both seniors in high school. I don't think that he wasn't being honest. I know he had quite a few problems in his life at the time and couldn't find ways to deal with it. Also he said he wanted to try new things and meet new people. Which, although harsh, I understood considering how young we are. I know it wouldn't be smart of me to even attempt this again, but I just can't let him go no matter what plus I know we have both matured quite a bit since this time last year. My fear is that he's not interested in me.

How do you know that all his issues are resolved?
If he still has problems, then don't get involved with him.
How do you know that he is changed? Matured?
I think it is too early to say that.

You should wait. What else can you do? You do not even know if he likes you. I think that you should start seeing other people; to gain more experience, to see the differences between him and others. And there is no need to feel rushed, you are still young, take all the time you need.

Oh yes he still have feelings for you as well, that he came back means he have been thinking about you for some time so don't make it difficult for him to fully express his feelings. Yes Zea is right, you're still young so take it slowly.

He dumped you, regardless of the reason, and he said he was bored, not that he had family problems. So he has to work to get you back. It's a good sign that he is apologetic and blushing. Don't be too hard on him, but don't be too easy either. It's OK to be blunt about not wanting to get hurt again. Just say it without anger.
