I have a 1998 Honda Accord V6 and when I went to start today. Nothing! I think I can hear a click but nothing else. The car starting fine yesterday and never has given me any problems. I would think if a battery was the problem I should have at least heard the car try to start. Is there an inline fuse to the starter? I only other thing I can think of is maybe a rat or small animal got in the engine compartment and eat through a wire. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

I didn't try to jump start this morning however will try once I get off work.

If it starts with a jump... first get the battery tested... then your alernator. Animals chewing wires is always possible (its happened to me)... but a bad battery or alternator are more likely.

Install a new battery and clean the battery terminals and cable connections
