I am recently release from a 23 month federal drug conspiracy sentence. I got out April 9th. Since I was arrested unexpectedly and had a live in girlfriend that decided to leave and take everything that I owned I got released to absolutely nothing. I was working for a construction company 2 yrs prior to my incarceration and it is a guaranteed job and I could go back today if allowed, only problem is I have to have flexibility to travel outside of the state. My po says I can't and to find work here. Im currently living with a friend in the middle of nowhere. Im lucky to even have a place to stay at this point but I have no transportation, no money, and no support system. It is not realistic that I can just go out and find a job here and I need to be working. I really need to know how to properly go about filing a motion to the federal court in florence sc in order to get in front of a judge explain my situation and try to get permission for travel. I was on pre-trial for almost 2 yrs and the judge allowed me to work this job then. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have you made formal written application with PO, that has been turned down?

And to be blunt, the PO and even the court really care less how you earn a living, and more about supervision, so honestly don't expect judge to really care.

But best is to get an attorney to request this. Or hire paralegal to at least write it up
