Hi everyone,

I recently adopted a puppy from a rescue centre. They said he is a Yorkshire Terrier but he is very big - he is only 7 months old and he weighs 9kg! He does look just like a Yorkie though.

I am just interested in finding out what breed(s) he may be crossed with - we are thinking perhaps a Yorkie x collie.

Any ideas?

We're really not psychic. If you post a picture we can guess, but it would just be a guess. Without a picture, I'd have to say that it's possible that he could be mixed with any other breed out there, from A-Z.

You could try a DNA test on him... dogs can have many different breeds in them... he may just be a Heinz 57 mutt that kind of looks like a yorkie...
