You have to look for it by completely tearing down the dryer. It is placed so that you have to remove everything, so you will clean it, but after removing the drum you will find it close to elements. It's round mounted in an oval piece of sheet metal with two wires. There are several of these and you will need to test them with an ohm meter going from one to the other as you follow the wires. They are wired in series, so when you find one just move through all of them. Make sure to remove the sheet metal ductwork and wash out the different parts that move air, including the blower which is very important. Make sure to replace the belt and grease all bearings with high-temp lithium grease (white and at all auto parts and appliance stores).
