Hi. I had my last period on March 25 and had very little brown discharge on April 8-9 and no itching and burning sensation. Now I missed my period by 7days. Sometimes my period was late, but max of 5 days. I had unprotected sex on April 20-21. I'm getting white discharge Since 2 days, but it very much normal, I got like this previously also. Is there any possibility of getting pregnancy. And I don't have any symptoms of early pregnancy. Do I need to check myself at home? Or need to consult doc? Please reply me as earliest..
Thank you..

You should contact you doctor just to see what's going on and if you are pregnant.

Thanks for your reply.. Actually whnever we did sex, he used to pulled out. And I tested myself at home, it came negative. Still do I have a chance of getting pregnancy?
One more question, when I have my periods last month, I had sex and After I took unwanted72 pill. Ls there any possibility of pregnancy?

Usually when you take the next morning pill no, but I would take another at home test, if you miss your period next month I would contact your doctor to make an appointment

Nicole, what is your source for this? "Usualy when you take the next morning pill no, but i would take another at home test, if you miss your period next month i would contact your doctor to make an appointment"

This person took the "next morning pill" and THEN she had sex. Are you saying that the "morning after" pill is somehow retroactice?

No, she's not safe, not from what I've read.

I'm sorry I thought it said she had sex then took the pill. It seems as though everything I say you have an argument for though.

I have no idea who you are. Secondly, I only have an argument when you post incorrect information, such as this person cannot be pregnant because she took a "morning after" pill before she had sex. I didn't think this thread was an argument. I thought it was a correction, and I thought I did it nicely. You obviously would have preferred me to either not mention it or mention it in some other way. What would that be?

What other thread turned into an argument between us? I can't even find another thread where we've had a difference of opinion - please post what you're referring to.

Let's refer this to a Moderator.

I had sex when I have periods. Then next day I took the pill. 12 days passed, still I didn't get periods..
Please clarify me What is the reason for Brown discharge?

After having the sex, within 72 hours need to take unwanted72 pill. So I had sex, then took pill

Mamo, I'm just not understanding this. What was the order?

You had sex, you took the "72 hour pill," you had sex again? Or something else?

The "72 pill" is not 100% effective so, yes, you could be pregnant. A brown discharge can be an infection. It can also be "old" blood being eliminated.

Have you taken a home pregnancy test according to the directions? Have you seen your Physician? Any change in your period, your cycle, should be checked.

The "72 pill" has side effects and should not be used for birth control. There are many, safer alternatives you should consider.

So - please explain to me what the sequence was so someone can help you.

Hello JudyKayTee,
I had sex on march 28-30(when I was having my period) then 30 th evening I took 72 pill. On April 8-9, I just spotted Brown discharge. I had sex again on April 20-21(5 days before expected period).

I did home test with the instructions given on may 2nd, it was negative.

I consulted gynecologist, she asked me to do home test again after 1 week. And asked me to take pelvis scan.

Now I missed my period by 13days. I will do home test once again.
Please clarify what could be the reason?

Pregnancy could be the reason. I assume you are not wanting to have a baby. Correct? If so, there is no form of birth control that is 100% effective.

Yes, it is very possible you are pregnant.

I don't want baby now. If at all pregnancy test will be positive, within howmany days I need to go for abortion. Is this abortion will have any effect for next time pregnancy?

Which abortion is safety? Surgical or medical abortion? And I heard that surgical abortion will be so painful, Is it so? Please let me know

You need to consult with a Physician. You are asking questions no one can answer without knowing your medical history.

I have no idea what you mean by surgical or medical abortion. How do you think Doctors perform abortions?

If you don't want to have a baby why did you have unprotected sex?

Surgical abortion is when a doctor goes in and scrapes the uterus. Medical abortion is caused by taking certain medications such as cytoctec or methotrexate.

I agree with Judy, though. You will have to discuss your options with a doctor if you are pregnant.

I did one more home test, it was negative.. And today I took ultrasound pelvic scan to confirm pregnancy, in that report also it came negative.
I missed my periods by 16 days. Please let me know what could be the reason.
Is there any chance to get delay in periods.

I don't know why you aren't understanding the answers - yes, you could be pregnant. There are many reasons tests are inconclusive or just plain wrong.

J9 explained abortion to you.

You've talked to your Doctor.

There is nothing else "we" can tell you.

You engaged in risky behavior. Yes, you could be pregnant.
