Hello, how are you today ? I am fine. I have a 2000 Accord 4 cyl that I have a problem with. I drove to a friends house one night and came out 2 hrs. later and the car wouldn't start. Just kept winding. I got a friend of mine (mechanic) to change the plugs and wires. Cyl no. 1 and 2 wires broke and the long plastic piece stayed in those cylinders. In order to get the plugs out, both plastic piece of the wires and top of plugs had to be broken. After that, the car started. Since then, it has been going though oil rapidly. I never had a problem before. The car since would stall at traffic lights and stop signs. I took it to another mechanic, and since then have not been able to start the car (still at the garage). He told me today that the motor is gone. It is going through oil and coolant. When he went to check the spark plugs, he said they looked as though they have been in the car for 100 years. I have changed the rotor button, but not the cap. The first time I went to the garage, and he put the computer on it, he said I had a misfire in cyl no. 2... (this is after the spark plug issue) I explained the problem at Honda to the parts counter person, and he said that it sounds like I need an ignition wire replacement. After replacing the rotor button, the car seemed to work good. Oil was good. Took it for a drive, and everything was fine. The next day, it started to smoke again. I drove it to the garage where it is now. Now he is telling me that the motor is gone. Please help... I miss my Accord ! Before the spark plug replacement, the car was working fine !

Sounds like bad rings, valves, or a bad head gasket.
