Howe do I find out how many tons my ac unit is

Look on the Name Plate on the Air Handler and look for 2 numbers (12 is 1 Tons, 24 is 2 Tons, 36 is 3 Tons, a half Ton is 6, so a 3 1/2 Ton unit should have 42 in the numbers.
