I have a Whirlpool Duet washer model GEW9250PLO and cannot start a new cycle. I am getting error code DL every time. The last cycle that ran stopped at "spin" and did not drain completely. I have umplugged the unit, tripped the door lock to get it open, but cannot get it to re-start. It will click six times but when I try to startthe cycle it gives the error code every time.

There is a microswitch that tells the computer whether the door is locked or not. It needs to be adjusted.
