I want to send my boyfriend an engraved pocket knife. I live in Australia and he is currently in Indiana, USA. I was just wondering if there are any current customs regulations that would ban the package from either leaving Australia or passing the US customs, and would they confiscate it? I know the government has been contemplating back and forth whether Knife Rights should be terminated or kept on, but I'm not sure what the current status of that outcome was. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

And these were sent though the postal system in one of those bags lined with bubble wrap.

Really? It appears the Australian government is crazier than ours. Amazing that that is even even possible.
