I have a redish rash that has appeared after having protected sex a couple days ago and my question was could this just be a skin irritatiion or what? Its like small little red dots that at first itched but now a day or two later doesn't but is tender to te touch but is just around the private area and not anywhere on it.

Could be a friction burn. It's like rug burn, but caused by skin rubbing together. Of course it could also be an STD, or an infection, or anything else. We really can't tell you online.

If this is a concern, see your doctor. Try putting some lotion on it for now (nothing with perfume in it, plain old vaseline is a good choice) and see if that helps.
