How can you explain this? I recently went away for the weekend. An hour after I left, my roommate heard some walking around and other noises in my bedroom, which is right above his. This continued for about a half an hour. Then he heard my voice speaking. He couldn't figure out what it was saying but he said it definitely my voice. What happened?

What did you say when you weren't there? Do you have an answering machine or tape with notes on it you have made?

Spirits are very well known for mimicking not only people's voices, but their appearance as well. This is why I do not believe in ghosts (as human spirits). You obviously weren't there at the time.

It would be nice to know whether you have an answering machine or not though.

No, I don't have an answering machine. Nothing was left on like the television or computer or tape recorder. My roommate doesn't know what "I" was saying but he said it was definitely my voice.
