Would you please tell me the very basic wiring to run the truck under it's own power? All the wiring has been burnt out and together and I desperately need to move the truck as it is too heavy for me to push. Just VERY BASIC please. I would appreciate any help. Thankx, Rob :)

Basicallt there is no easy way. I'd recommend going down to your auto store. Advance auto, or autozone and get the complete manual to what you need. That manual would tell you every single tiny bolt, screw and wire.

Lucky it is a 75. Anything much newer, and call a tow truck. You shouldn't need much more than spark. Plug wires, coil, distributor. Run a wire from a charged battery to the + terminal of the coil, and from the - to the distributor. Even if all the insulation is burned off the ground wire no problem as long as it isn't burned in too and makes contact. Your are going to have to replace all them anyhow. I think that will work with points and some of the electronic ignitions. With it out of gear, jump it directly to the starter, bendex too if it has one. Close the hood and go for it. If it doesn't work, post back with details.

Stick and mechanical fuel pump?

Yes, very lucky & no Calif. Smog either. All sounds good. Thanks a lot. I'm working on it this weekend, just hope the rain lets up. I'll set up a tarp or something. That has 4 on the floor and electric fuel pump, so I'll rig that in too. I'll get back to you in a couple days, I guess I just needed a "kick start". Thanks again,
Rob :)
