I experience an ache on the lower right side of my back only when I wake up every morning. I suspect is my right kidney but there is no burning sensation when I urinate so I am confused; any insight will help.

Kidney issues don't cause a burning sensation when a person urinates -

I think the obvious answer is to see a Physician.

EDIT: You had a similar complaint of September 2012 and were advised to consult with a Physician. Did you? https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/medical-conditions-diseases/right-leg-burning-tingling-sensation-700376.html

No, unfortunately I could not go to the doctor, I treated it at home with Anamu a natural herb supplement and it helped; however, the right lower back pain prevails.

There is a difference between helping and curing.

You need to see a Physician.

Judy,

I am going through financial difficulties, that have kept me from going to the doctor.
I will as soon as I can. Thanks for your motivation.

I don't mean to scare you, I truly don't - that having been said, I'm a widow because of the complications of diabetes/kidney disease. I had a terrible scare last year when I wasn't feeling well, had burning when I urinated, went to a clinic (one of those after hours places), they diagnosed a bladder infection, I felt worse, it was a kidney infection that went untreated for about 2 weeks because of their misdiagnosis. I was really sick and lost a lot of weight - and I was furious with the clinic!

Take care of yourself. I know it's expensive but is there a clinic near you? If there is a kidney association of any sort it will have all sorts of referral options.

It's terrible that the economy is so bad that all of us have to think twice about getting good health care.

Please let me know how you are doing -

Thanks for your support, it's hard not to think the ache I am having comes
From my kidney since it hurts in that area, is also scary to find out but I got to do
I got to do as soon as my situation improves and sorry about your husband and that misdiagnosis for your health condition you have to be careful who you chose as a Doctor.

Absolutely - I appreciate your kind comments, but they were not necessary. I just wanted to bring home the point that this could be serious.

Again, please keep in touch.
