I was caught shoplifting at a grocery store in Toronto,Canada. The item wasn't worth much. The loss-prevention officer just asked me to pay for the item and leave. He didn't ask for my name or age (I'm under 18 btw). He also didn't call my parents or the police, so I'm guessing it doesn't go on my record. All he has is footage of me shoplifting. He also told me not to come to store ever again or he will call the police. So here are my questions: Will I receive a letter asking me to pay for a shoplifting fine in the foreseeable future and I am banned from all locations of the grocery store or just the one I shoplifted from?
