Hi there,
I have an 7 years old, male, long hair chihuahua. For most of his life he was using wee wee pads and few weeks ago we moved to a bigger house. In the past 6 months we slowly started to walk him more and got rid of the pads. Slowly and successfully.

But since we moved to our new place peeing on rugs and furniture became more and more frequent and a problem. He even peed in his own bed. Although he's being walked a lot.
We also noticed that he's barking way more then he used to, especially when doors are open (we have an alarm system and a beep sound when doors and windows are opened) his barking is an unbearable sound, we don't know how to control it and make it stop.
Please help, we miss our good behaved dog and really don't know what to do.

Try not to think of him as a 'bad' dog, misbehaving. Between moving and the beeps (which are probably unbearable to his dog ears), he is anxious and doesn't understand all the changes, and he may even think the beeps are some sort of punishment. Go back to one pee pad near the door for a while, spend a lot of time coddling him, exaggerate praise when he pees outside, and reset the alarms to not beep when you are home. I can't imagine an alarm system that doesn't have that ability.
