When installing a new garbage disposal into a new sink do you need to use plumbers putty if fisposal has a gasket ?

Yes, unless the sink flange came with a gasket that fits between the flange and the sink, inside the sink. Traditionally, putty is used but I think I have seen flanges that come with a gasket that fits inside. Read instructions.
