Well that's about the nicest thing I heard lately

Australia 'most comfortably racist' country, says British comedian and The Daily Show correspondent John Oliver | News.com.au (http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/television/australia-most-comfortably-racist-country-says-british-comedian-and-the-daily-show-correspondent-john-oliver/story-e6frfmyi-1226621741008)

If people are racist they should be comfortable about it, but we don't discriminate as some do, we are racist about everyone. I expect that when this fellow takes over the daily show we are going to receive many racist jokes about Australians but as long as he doesn't mind being called a pommy b@stard we won't mind

Oliver is pretty good in his role on the show.. But he is no Jon Stewart ;and the show will suffer in his absence . Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell have at times hosted the show . But they have proven themselves as stars in their post Daily Show careers .

The movie Stewart will direct is about Maziar Bahari ;a Canadian-Iranian journalist who was jailed by the 12ers in 2009 for allegedly plotting against the Iranian government . He had been a guest on the Daily Show ;and the sketch was used against him .

As for Aussies being a racist society ? Compared to what ? Guess the rowdies in England are equal opportunity thug brawlers.

Compared to pommies of course they don't like our humour and there is no way we would have thrown open the doors as they did, what we did was stupid enough but then that's what you get when you are led by a bunch of leftist wankers; Whitlam, Cairns, Murphy, Connor, Grassby who we threw out on their ear
