Hi.
I had my injection last jan20,2013 (depotrust). When I took the shot I was not married yet, I got married last early April and now my husband wants us to have a baby.. my problem is, my husband doesn't know I took the shot. Now I need help how to counteract the shot or any suggestions anyone?

From what I read the shot is only good for 3 months, and must be re-administered every 3 months in order to prevent pregnancy.
If you got the shot in late January you'd be due for your next one at the end of this month. So just don't get the next shot and start trying to conceive. It's not likely you'd conceive right away anyway. It takes the average couple 1 to 2 years to conceive once they actively start trying.

I always advise my patients that this should be considered a long term form of birth control. Even after only one injection it is possible that it can take up to 18 months for the effects of the hormones to leave your system completely.
As Alty said, it can take the average couple 1-2 years of actively trying before conception happens. It may take longer for you since you have had the depo injection.

Sounds like you have a yeast infection. The birth control shot doesn't prevent infection, just pregnancy. See your doctor.
