Need help identifying... how can I place picture here

At the bottom of he thread is a Quick Answer box. You can use it or the button under it to Go Advanced.

For the Answer Box (if you are using Tinypic or another pic hosting site):
Look at the icons on the top of the Answer Box.
You will see one that looks like a picture of a mountain (scrolling over it, it says 'Insert Image'.)
Click the icon.
A box will pop up and you can enter the url (link) to the picture.

If you Go Advanced, you have another option. You can up-load the picture from your computer.

Look at the icons at the top of the box.
Find the one shaped like a paper clip (scrolling over it, the word 'Attachments' comes up).
Click it.
Follow the directions for up-loading the link to your picture. (There is a chart showing what types and sizes of attachments are supported.)
Once you have up-loaded the picture.
Close the box and reopen it using the paper clip icon.
Your file will then be available for you to add to your post.

The Go Advanced option also gives you a chance to preview your post before submitting it. It can be a great way to make certain the picture will post correctly.
