That is my question. I will start a case against my husband for money taken from me before marrying him. I have some proof and witness. I would like to know if it is possible to find a lawyer just to write a letter of complaint in a professional way.

Sure, some attorneys will just charge you for the time to write a letter. Shop around.

Actually, she means a complaint to file in court. The question relates to issues discussed in this (https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/family-law/transfer-assets-during-divorce-744124-2.html#post3442857) thread. But yes, that would be one way to deal with a pending statute of limitations defense.

As I said in the other thread, OP should also see about getting the divorce court to require her husband to pay necessary legal fees.
