I changed the kitchen faucet last night. Turned the water off downstairs. When I got done, everything worked great except now all of a sudden the water in the bathroom sink won't work. The tub water works just not the bathroom sink. I made sure all the valves were turned back on in basement. Some sediment and rust came out in tub and toilet, and I checked the B-room sink aerator, and it was OK. Just don't have any pressure, or anything at all.

If you have same problem with both hot and cold, you have sediment in the faucet.

Shut water off under sink and remove faucet valve stem/cartridge. Turn water on for hot. Shut off hot and turn on cold.be Sure to hold cup over opening to divert water.

Reassemble and turn valves on.

Does this clear your lines?

Great solution by creahands. What's happened is that when working with the pipes you disturbed some mineral buildup in the pipes and it's now clogging the inlet ports of the cartridge. Follow his instructions, Good luck, Tom

I changed the faucets in a bathroom and when I hooked everything back up, nothing from the hot side. I changed faucet in a second bath and the same thing happened. Now both have no hot water. Cold side is fine. I heard air when I opened the hot water valve under the sink but only a few drips came out, then nothing.
