Here are the normal levels for HcG (see below). This really isn't my area of expertise and I can't say for sure what your hcg levels will do. Some women have strange levels, but still have healthy pregnancies. But, generally this is a sign that something isn't right and there is a possibility of miscarriage or even ectopic pregnancy. You should really talk to your doctor about this, and find out what is going on. They have all the test results and I hope did a physical exam so they should be able to tell you what's happening. I assume that they plan on doing another HcG to follow up? Did they do a ultrasound?
In the main time, if you have any sudden abdominal pain go straight to the ER. If it is an ectopic pregnancy it could be dangerous for you.

Premenopausal: < 5 IU/L
Postmenopausal: < 10 IU/L
Pregnancy:
0 - 2 wk: < 500 IU/L
2 - 3 wk: 100 - 5,000 IU/L
3 - 4 wk: 500 - 10,000 IU/L
1 - 2 mo: 1,000 - 200,000 IU/L
2-3 mo: 10,000 - 100,000 IU/L

Best of luck!
