I got my nose pierced a year and a half ago. When I first got it done two days later I had to get it re-pierced because the lady screwed it up the first time so it fell out at night. It was fine until three or four months later I was putting on a sweater and it ripped it out. 5 days later I got it re-pierced and then I changed it like a month after into a ring instead of a stud. The ring was fine for the first couple of days but then I started developing a bubble/bump around the opening. I couldn't even see the opening. I changed it back to a stud after that but I've always had the bump under the stud. About 3 months ago while I was on vacation my little brother hit me in the face and my stud fell out again. I didn't re-pierce it until about a week after. But I put a ring in instead of a stud. It was completely fine until I came back. The bump/bubble started to develop again. I need help to get rid of it. I've tried everything from sea salt soaks to tylenol paste. I will not remove the jewellry because I've took it out many times. Any thoughts on what to do ?

Sounds like you may have a Keloid

Keloid - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keloid#Treatments).

If that's the case, you'll need to see your doctor.

Realize that this is only a guess, which is all we can do online. In order to find out what is going on, and get a diagnosis, you'll need to see your doctor.

In other words, the doctor is really your only option.

Good luck.
