My family are always arguing about money and stuff (especially when a loved one has passed away)
I know this is going to sound pathetic but... I always struggle at school because this sort of thing is on my mind.

I was just wondering how to get over it...

You accept that people are the way they are and you can't change them.

Also learn to focus on the things you can control.. (I.E. yourself and your education). And not focus on things beyond your control or influence.

See.. thats an exercise in futility... it only stresses you out and nothing gets accomplished.

You also have a finite amount of energy... and its best to direct that into things that are productive... instead of wasting them beating your head against the wall... the wall remains intact... and you get a very bad headache.

You can't fix what other people choose to do. The sooner you realize that, and accept it, the happier you'll be.

You can only control your life, and what you do with it. Everyone has that right, and everyone has the right to walk away from drama created by others, even family.

Just walk away from it, don't get involved, and concentrate on your life, make the decisions you want to make for your life, and let them choose what to do with theirs.

My parents fought about money too. My mother opened charge accounts at every store there was and then didn't pay the bills, ruining my father's credit. There were rooms stacked to the ceilings with unopened boxes.
I tried to be the peacemaker with all sorts of situation, and ended up a wreck.
Stay out of it. It will ruin you. It isn't your job to fix your parents.
I know it isn't easy to put into practice.
I rushed right to my room to do homework and read. At least I got all As as a result.
