Being convicted felon I want to start my own stereo installation business and I am trying to obtain a small loan . I am wondering how do I get a loan having a criminal record.

You apply for a loan like everyone else. I am not aware that lending companies ask about criminal records.

Usually with a business loan, you need some sort of written business plan for the bank to see that you have thought out and have a well rounded plan for the use of the money. Go in to whatever bank you plan on using, ask them about getting a business loan and they will tell you all that you will need to do.

As was already stated, rarely do they ask about criminal records for a loan.
