I am on F1 status from India. I have got a W2 form and 1099-misc form.the income fromt the 1099-misc was not taxed before and I have to pay the taxes for that income. But the income on W2 was taxed and the federal and state taxes are withheld for that income but the income on 1099-misc taxes were not withheld for that income. Can anyone guide how to file the federal and state taxes for that income from w2 and 1099-misc.

You will have to file Form 1040NR.

The W-2 income goes in the WAGES line (Line #7, I believe).

The Form 1099 income must be listed on Schedule C or C-EZ, from which you can deduct valid expenses incurred while earning that income. The net income is then transferred to Line #12 of Formm 1040NR.
