I used to weight about 160lbs. I got a desk job and went to school. I think the combo of stress and sitting on my butt helped me gain a whopping 50lbs. So now I'm about 210lbs.

So of course I'm trying to lose weight.

I got my gym membership on Feb 28th and I became a vegetarian as of the 1st of March.

I cut out most dairy ( especially cheese ). I take a multi vitamin a B complex vitamin and CLA once in a while. I am eating an amazing range of green veggies and more fruit then I used to eat. I try not to buy snacks and If I do its tortilla chips and salsa. I don't eat a lot of bread, potatoes, or pasta like I used to. I didn't drink pop before so I don't now but I used to drink a lot of juice and I have stopped that. I drink only water.

Ive been trying to eat a breakfast ( although I'm not a morning eater). I eat good meals and smaller portions. Some days I still snack a bit before bed if I'm watching a movie ( healthy crackers)

What the heck

I can't seem to lose any weight. And its really annoying. Im not expecting anything huge I want to lose it slow and steady and KEEP IT OFF. But I went from 211 on feb 28th to 208/209 as of today.

I work out at least 2x a week but depending on my work I try to go 2-4 times a week. I also take my dog out for walks and bike rides and as spring goes and summer comes that will increase a lot.

Ive changed my whole diet and worked my butt off and I'm so disappointed that I'm not seeing any results. Can anyone offer me advise or even a sympathetic ear.

Thanks

How old are you? How about menopause or pre-?

You may be eating healthier but not really enough less. You may be building muscle at the gym, which can make you actually gain weight as you lose fat.

Fruit sugar may be 'good' for you, but it is still sugar. Chips and crackers, healthy or not, are still calories. BUT so what, you are eating healthy food and losing very slowly, and that's better than losing 3 lbs a week and going nuts and falling off the wagon.

I'm only 22. I eat mostly oranges but I get what your saying about the sugar. Same with the snacks.it's not a lot or often but I am a snacker I'm not sure if there is ever a healthy snack.

I think I'm going to try eating more smaller meals more often. But thanks

I appreciate your words though I know it's better but it can be frustrating not seeing anything.

Oranges may be good for you, but not for losing weight, unless they are a substitute for a dessert. Calculate the calories on 12 oz of OJ and 12 oz of regular Coke. The OJ has more. Obviously the Coke is empty calories, but still calories.
Eating tiny meals every 3 hours is one technique some people like.
