View Full Version : Warrants & Flying

I am planning on flying to Hawaii for a weeklong vacation but I'm very skeptical about buying a ticket. I believe that I may have a warrant for my arrest in my town because of old unpaid court fines, and another in a different county for not adhering to my probation guidelines (ie. Got out of jail and never reported back). Both are result of separate misdemeanor cases and I am also a convicted felon but not on papers anymore. I realize that I'm risking quite a bit of money to go on vacation, and to get arrested in an airport and lose all that money is something I don't want to do. So...

... Will this keep me from being able to go on vacation? Or am I safe to buy a ticket and go? Do airports and the government check for warrants when you purchase a ticket to fly out of state, not allowing you to fly if you have one?

Any information on this topic would be much appreciated.

No they don't run pipl unless they cause problems or get drunk at the airport. There is way to many flying in and out for them to waste there time. No if you leave the USA then you might have a problem.
