I experienced it 2 weeks ago before my menstrual period came I took doxycycline for 1 week and after that the itchiness subside. But after 2 weeks it back to normal and its getting worse. I had my papsmear last October 2012 got a result of vaginitis but that time I don't feel any itchiness on my vagina it only shown a greenish and foul discharge. But now I'm only experiencing the itchiness outside of my vagina. Please help me I'm so disturbed of this itchiness.

I would contact the Doctor who prescribed the antibiotic. It very well could be a yeast infection.

Why I develop a yeast infection? I had my papsmear oct 2012 with a result of vaginitis but I was cured after I took the medication. Why now after 6 months I'm suffering from irritation?

Antibiotics kill off good bacteria and bad bacteria (yeast) take over. Ask your Physician.
