I know it isn't a question, but I wanted to let you all know that I finally got a positive pregnancy test!! My doctor fit me in today and confirmed that I am pregnant, and so far everything looks good. I go back for an ultrasound April 4th to check the positioning and to see the heartbeat. My husband and I are so excited!!

Congrats hun! I know you have been wanting this for some time! Now you finally got your wish, and can stop worrying about trying.(hehe, you'll just move on to the other inevitable and typical worries that you get once you are pregnant! ;0)
Hope you have an uneventful and healthy pregnancy/baby.

Congratulations! Myself and partner have decided to try for our second baby now so I've stopped having my depo injection. Not sure how long it will take me to get pregnant though. Congratualations again

Thanks so much to everyone! We are so excited! I'm overjoyed and overwhelmed at the same time. Having your first child is really quite frightening, too! We couldn't be happier, though. Just less than 35 weeks to go!

Hang in there. I promise you, after the little one is born, deep in sleep on your chest, you will forget all the troubles. There is absolutely nothing so overwhelming as feeling the warmth of your new baby sleeping against your skin.

Well, I had my u/s done today. We saw the heartbeat, but it was soooo small! The doctor said I'm actually only about 6 weeks along rather than 7+4, so I probably ovulated late. They really worried me cause the u/s tech was whispering to my nurse about what she saw, and the doctor wants to do another u/s in 2 weeks. He said everything looks good, but that he wants to see me get past 8 weeks before we're out of the woods. Even though I got to see my baby it really freaked me out! Next time we go in they will probably change my due date from Nov 17 to Nov 30 or Dec 1. I feel like I have gone back two weeks! The early stages are very emotional with all the waiting and the unknown. I can't help but wonder if my baby is okay!

The best thing you can do right now is to take good care of yourself. The doctor probably just wants to get past the most fragile stage of pregnancy. So don't worry and just relax and take care of yourself... keep us updated:)

I know that it must be so hard to wait and wonder, having to deal with all the drama and worry, I don't envy you at all. But for now, just try to focus on the fact that they DID see a heartbeat. I hope that all works out for you hun. You have my prayers.

Awww... Automansgirl - don't worry, everything will be fine! We had our 13 weeks scan a couple of weeks ago and found out that there was a twin! And we were told we wouldn't have babies naturally because Daniel doesn't have any swimmers! Well the twin actually died earlier on in the pregnancy... they were fraternal twins! But never mind, my other little darling is fit as a fiddle and gorgeous.. I really didn't believe when people were telling me they could tell the sex of the baby so early - but both my sonologist and doctor told me the same sex and that they were 80% certain! Shhhessh! Good lucky to happy and healthy pregnancy Automansgirl! I knew it would happen for you.

Congrats!! And enjoy this is an important time to chill out and relax as believe me when your little bundle comes along you will forget what those two words mean for a little while.

Saying that having a child is also the most rewarding thing you will ever do!

He just wants to get you out of the woods. Not to scare you but 1 in 3 pregnancies end in the first 8-12 weeks and most never know they are pregnant! But I am sure your angel will be fine!

Thanks so much for all the encouraging thoughts! I have my u/s in 3 more days. I'm getting pretty excited, but of course I can't help but think of all the things that could go wrong! Oh the joys of motherhood! I'm feeling fairly well, too. I'm just so tired all the time. I keep getting these hormonal headaches, too. I know it will all pass in time. I will let you all know how the u/s goes this Wed. Again, thanks for everything!

Hi everyone! I had my second u/s on Wed and everything looked great! The baby is growing and the yolk sac looked very good. It's actually right above the baby, so on the picture it looked like a little cartoon character! If you know that it is the yolk sac it looks like the baby has a halo above it's head. My hubby said it must take after me, cause if it takes after him the baby will have horns. Anyway, everything is going great!
