Okay so yesterday me and my friend did the salt and ice challenge. I was a little bit under a minute or so and my friend was around 30 seconds. I did on the back of my hand Anyway my hand was red and whitish in the middle afterwords then it just went red, it was bunny like swollen and hard to move it didn't hurt though. Then later it started hurting and it hurts just by small touches or even water running on it. Today it still really hurts and is still very red and a little bumpy. My friends hand is not like this at all! I don't want to tell my mom unless I absolutely need to! I showed my brother today and said his friend did 8 weeks ago and I will have a scar but the pain should go away. Please help? Also I would not like to for to the docter and have them tell me nothing

This is serious. You have third degree burns on the back of your hand. If not seen to correctly will develop into infection which will not be very good. Tell your mom so you can have it dealt with properly.

It is a burn, it can get infected and this is very serous. You need to show it to parents and most likely a doctor. If it gets infected, it can be much worst than just a scar, but yes expect at least a scar
