I am 20 weeks pregnant I am 37 years old I have had 4 live births and 1 still born at 20 or so weeks (child before last) first child was 4 1/2 weeks premature but he is almost 21 and fine. On Jan 27 of this year I was diagnosed with a sub chorionic hematoma and was put on pelvic rest. On Feb. 14 I was give first trimester test and was released from pelvic rest. I had intercourse that evening and the next then none. On Feb. 20 I was taken to the emergency room because I had another bleed and clots big ones they said the baby was fine no bleed. I went to the doctor they said pelvic rest no work mild bed rest for a week. I went back in like a week and a half later they said I had a 2cm or mm pool of old blood that was centered on top my cervix but it was old blood. My placenta has been in a good position the whole time and continues to be. On March 13th I went to the doc they took me off pelvic rest and said try intercourse if you bleed pelvic rest. Only old blood every now and then. On the 21st of March I had an orgasm no penetration went to the bathroom an hour later pink red blood. Went to lay down had some cramping not bad and more blood. Laid down again got up no blood. Called the doc pelvic rest. Nothing on the 22cd then on the 23rd through now every morning when I get up there is either pink red or bright red or dark rich red blood when I get up and wipe and then nothing when I stay up and move around the rest of the day. Went back to the doc on the 28 so he could look at my cervix it hurt when he put the speculum in it felt like it was raw hamburger and he told the nurse he wasn't going to play around in there to long. They had me come in at 8:45 am so they could see what was going on in the morning. He said it was all only old blood but, my cervix looked fine. I do smoke about 5 cigs per day which I am trying to quit but, slowly so that I don't stress me and the baby. I know there is something going on because your skin doesn't bleed unless it is cut or scraped and yet the doc says the only way to know for sure is to put me under and go into my cervix. Not. I called University of Maryland because that is where I had my first child and they are great. I got hooked up with Women's Health Center down there and have an appointment on the 10th of April. I know something is not right I did have my anatomy Ultra on the 25 of March the high risk center said everything inside the womb looks great baby looks great placenta looks great and no bleed or pools of blood. Doc looked at cervix said it looks good so why is it that I only bleed every morning after laying in bed all night when I sit up or move around during the day I don't bleed at all. I drink lots of water and take my vitamins when I am not bound up and I haven't had sex since they told me not to but, it is hard to not do that because me and my husband have been married 21 years almost and we usually do it like 4-5 times a week so this is a real test. We are not doing anything to hurt the baby though and are listening to the docs. No intercourse, no stimulation of the breasts and no orgasm for me. I do help him because, well he is my husband but, I keep it in check. Any clue.
