I have a panasonic Tv, Dish, Sony stereo receiver and now trying to add a DVD video recorder... PLEASE HELP. Directions don't seem to be to confusing and I thought I followed them...

Your dvd recorder with have a/v inputs and outputs.

Connect the a/v out from the dish to the a/v in on the recorder using suitable cables for audio and video.

Connect the recorder's video output to your TV using a suitable cable (S-video or Yellow RCA or Component video).

Connect the recorder's audio output to your stereo receiver inputs (i.e. Aux.), using standard RCA cables (red and white)
