One day ago, I had a piece of meat stuck in my throat for over six hours. I could breathe, but the piece was lodged in my throat for a while. I tried vomiting the piece out for hours, but to no avail. Finally, I read online that I would have to swallow as hard as I could in order to pass the piece to the stomach. I cupped some water and did exactly that. The piece is out of the esophagus and I assume that I have digested it already. But, I have extreme pain in my stomach when I eat/drink. Is this normal? What should I do?

If you are in extreme pain, please see a doctor. We can't diagnose over the Internet.
