I'm 27 white male. I'm 6ft tall about 220. On Monday at 6pm I drank a 22oz beer. Starting at about 7pm the same day until 12 midnight I drank 7 beers and at the end took a dose of nightquill for sleep. At 10 am Thursday morning I took a EtG test. I drank about 2 bottles of water before the test but within 45 min of the test. Also on Tuesday I drank a ton of water and worked out for about 30 min. so I have about 55 hours from last drink till the test. Do you think ill pass the test? I don't know the cut off but assume it's the 100 ng. please answe asap if you have experience in this field. Thank u.

It depends on your metabolism. The EtG test measures a metabolite of the alcohol not the alcohol itself. So you could technically test positive up to 80 hours post drinking, but you could also test negative after about 20. It just depends. Oh and because it's a metabolite that's being measured and not the actual alcohol drinking all the water to try and flush it from your system most likely won't work.

Lecture time: if you want a negative test, don't drink. It's not only about testing positive or negative or getting a job, or violating probation or whatever the issue is. It's about your health. Alcoholism increases the risks for almost every disease out there including cancer, dementia, and the obvious liver pathologies.

Ya I have seen online where some have passed and some haven't. It wasn't worth it that's for sure. Wasn't planned I hadn't drank in about 6 month went to a place for a burger decided I would have only one beer and that didn't go so well. Guess all I can do is wait and c. Stupid EtG test
