I started dating a guy a week after I broke up with my long term boyfriend of 4 years.
This new guy was great, we went on dates for 2 months, hooked up a few times, but it eventually fizzled out. I didn't know why at first but now I do. As I had just come out of a long relationship, I treated this new guy like a boyfriend, constantly messaging him and asking him out on dates and even though we had a good time I can only imagine how strongly I came onto him! And that's enough to scare any potential partner! It's been 5 months since I last saw him and I'm in a fantastic state of mind and I realise I don't have to rely on people (and perminately hassled them) for affection. I am now wondering if I can ask him for a second chance at dating, but I don't know how I'd go about it without sounding really daft! Also we have mutual friends, if that helps... Any ideas?
