I usually have VERY regualr periods never had one that's late! I am now over 2 weeks late on my period but I am still getting negative home tests and I don't really know what to do? Me and my partner weren't safe at all last month didn't use any protection at all and I admit that I just don't understand why I am still getting negative test any adive?

Not surprised... two weeks late is the absolute EARLIEST you should be taking a HPT.
Wait another week or two and try again...

No need to wait longer than 2 more weeks... they are as accurate as they get by the 4th week. And it goes without saying to read the instructions... you can only take them right after you wake up, the first time you pee for that day.

I have regular periods and this month I am a week late and yesterday started have light brown discharge, does anyone have and suggestions? It isn't much, I do use a panty liner just to be sure but it's mainly just when I wipe! I don't have any other symptoms other the slight back ache

Are you asking if there is a chance you could be pregnant?
Are you sexually active?
If so, then yes, you could possibly be pregnant.
Wait until two weeks after your missed period and take a HPT. Follow the directions as given on the box.
We can not tell you that you are pregnant. But, if you are sexually active, then we can tell you that it is a possibility.

Brown blood indicates old blood. This is your bodies way of cleaning itself out. It could be an off period, it could be pregnancy, it could be something else entirely. Sadly we can't diagnose online.

Well, as I said before, you will need to take a HPT. Wait another week if you are now a week late.
Are you and your boyfriend trying to have a baby?

I, sometimes, experience this brown discharge right before or a couple days before I start my period.

There is no form of birth control that is 100% effective. I have gotten pregnant not once, but twice, using the pill AND the condom. With you misusing your birth control you are increasing the risks of pregnancy.
Are you prepared to be a mother?

I'm not even on the pill we only ever use condoms stupid of me I know!
And even though I'm only 17nearly 18 everyone says I'm wise for my years and with the support of my loving boyfriend I think we'd do just fine I take on any responsibility life throws at me and if being a mother is going to be one I'll take it on with great pleasure. I guess it's just a waiting game now

TeganSarah, I have merged your threads because they are essentially dealing with the same issue-your period being late.
In March, did you get your period? Was it normal in April?
If your period has been acting up for the past couple of months, it is time to visit your doctor.
You may be going through a period of hormonal imbalance that has your system behaving in an (for you) abnormal way or there may be something else happening including pregnancy.
Edited to add: If you are okay with getting pregnant, then, please, see your doctor and discuss measures you can take now to ensure that any accidental pregnancy you have planned is healthly and safe for both you and the baby.
