There is really no magic bullet to help you through menopause; it is one of those afflictions that is best handled by lots of sleep, diet, and exercise and any stress relieving helper you can think of.

As for the hot flashes, which I think happen mostly at night, treat them like an uncomfortably hot day with less clothing then you normally wear.

I have been experiencing the same things and a lot of the time I do not believe in taking anything. Some women cannot go on HRT such as myself. I have found eating a better diet really helps as does trying not to get too stressed. You can try natural things such as Red Cohosh or starflower oil but I would ask advice first though. Your not alone.

I don't believe in Hormone Replacement Therapy, it has too many side effects for women, one being heart disease.
