Dear someone,
My boyfriend and I have been seeing this figure of what seems to be a man in our bedroom every night. My boyfriend told me that he a sensitive, and about one month after he moved in he told me that he did not like to be in the bedroom. I asked him why and he said because there is an old woman that lives in there and from time to time, she will come out walk through the dining room into the kitchen and then dissipate. I thought he sounded crazy.
Now, I do believe in spirits. Since I have been 11, I have experienced many paranormal things. It started with air fresheners moving on their own while I was cleaning the bathroom. I feel like it follows me everywhere I go. I am not the only person in my family that it follows; my little brother also thinks this spirit is following him as well.
For the last two months or so, the activity has gotten more intense. My boyfriend and I sat down one night and shared our experiences because I thought I was going crazy. When he started telling me, what he was seeing and where he was seeing it, the most gave me chills down my spine. There is a certain corner in the room that I see it the most, and mostly it shows itself in a cloud like shape.
I had not told him anything except that I am seeing something in the room, so he asked, "Is it like a dark black like cloud thing that mostly sits up in the far corner of the room?" that is exactly what it was. He also said that the night before he watched this dark cloud looking thing move from the corner, to the bed, it hovered over me and then came down. When it got to the bed next to me, it disappeared.
He then went on to tell me that he also sees a young woman with dark hair wearing a wedding dress that just walks around the apartment and another woman who stays in the room by the closet who looks not sad but not happy.
Every night when we go to bed, it takes me a while to fall asleep. I have to pray for our protection from god to feel comfortable. I find myself waking up every night and seeing this thing either in the one corner and lately standing in front of the door in the shape of a tall person (which I perceive to be a male figure) just standing there almost seeming like he doesn't want anyone to leave.
Last night was the most terrifying for me; I went to bed with my boyfriend and closed my eyes for a brief moment so my eyes could adjust to the dark. When I opened them I was able to see the room, our room is not that dark. Then I fell asleep for probably only 15 or 20 min. when I opened my eyes I could not see anything. I was terrified. No matter how hard I would try to get my eyes focused on something, anything, I could not.
I do not know if I am just over analyzing things or just freaking myself out, but when I am home by myself, I am so unbelievably uncomfortable I cannot sleep until the sun comes up.
I am looking for someone to help me rationalize what is going on. I do believe in Jesus Christ, and I grew up in a Christian home. Maybe someone can give me something from the bible to read that will help me understand what is going on.
