My wife ha undergone through U.S.G test and scan as recommended by a dotor. And the result was PCOD. Is it mean she is pregnant. We are confused with the report. Can u give a clear information about this. She has undergone that test due to the missing of her eriods for 1 and half month.

No, your wife is not pregnant, and the condition that she has, an hormonal imbalance which causes her menses not to arrive on time, and eggs not being released from her ovaries. I suggest you go back to her doctor and sit down and ask him to explain in detail, so you have no doubts.

This is an ongoing condition.

My wife after having sex with me in the month of November, took a birth control pill and she had her two continuous periods that is both in December and January. That was the last time we had sex and not till now again after the pill. But now she missed her periods in February and march and has undergone U.S.G test and scan and got the reports as PCOD. Is that means she is pregnant? Are there chances of conceiving now? She is very worried about her periods. When and how can she get her periods?

I gave you all the information I can in my answer to your question. No she is not pregnant and very difficult since she has this condition which is genetic by the way and caused by too much of one male hormone.

You had better go back and have this discussion with her doctor please.

PCOD means polycystic ovarian disorder. It means that your wife is not pregnant but has many cysts on her ovaries.

I hesitated at first to give you a lengthy explanation because I knew you would not understand. One of the hormones that all women have, and it is genetic.

Still advise you to go back and speak to her doctor; if english is not your original tongue, then take someone with you who can help explain the condition your wife has. You and she must be proactive regarding her ongoing health issues.
