A loan of 25,000$ was given to me by my in laws to pay off debts my then husband had incurred. I paid all debts off then husband decided to leave the marriage. I saw a lawyer and was advised to stop repayment on this loan as I am unable to afford it. This was in August 2011. They r now trying to get me to pay. Do they have a case and if so will they need to sue their son as well?
