Hi,
I'm RiAnn and I'm a senior in high school. For awhile now, a friend of mine has been insisting he thinks I have this syndrome and wants me to get it checked out. Due to cost issues and a few other reasons, I've avoided going to the doctor. I'm not really bothered by anything other than a near constant ache in the joints of my hands and wrists; occasionally in my feet and ankles as well; and recurring headaches. I'm very double jointed, and can push my shoulders, hips, fingers, and several toes in and out of place at will. My friend has become more and more pushy about seeing a doctor. He seems to think that my headaches and memory problems are a sign of something dangerous, but I've had those since I was small. Even my mother has reoccurring migraines. He finally agreed to back off and stop bugging me if I contacted someone who knew more about the syndrome online and got their opinion, so that's why I'm messaging you. Is this syndrome dangerous? What is your opinion of my 'symptoms'? Thank you so much for your time, and I'm sorry for bothering you.
